Eighth Squad detectives report the arrest of a Bethpage woman for an incident that occurred on Sept. 24 at 3:20 p.m. in Bethpage.
According to detectives, a 10-month-old male sustained a serious injury while under the care of the Kiddie Academy, 45 Seaman Ave. in Bethpage and did not receive proper medical treatment, which prompted an investigation by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services.

The investigation eventually revealed the owner, 34-year-old Natalie Rose, purposely falsified the New York State incident report filed in regards to the child’s injury.
On Dec. 5, Rose was taken into custody by detectives for arrest processing.
The defendant is charged with first-degree falsifying business records, first-degree offering a false instrument for filing and endangering the welfare of a child. Rose was issued an appearance ticket for Dec. 17.
