Two Plainedge High School students have earned the designation as a New York State School Music Association’s All-State Musician for 2020. The Plainedge School District congratulates seniors Erica Garcia and Gabriella Maresco on this achievement.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the All-State selection process was different this year, yet still highly competitive. Students were chosen based on their scores from their spring 2019 NYSSMA assessment, along with teacher recommendations.
Garcia and Maresco took part in a virtual All-State concert in December.
