The victims left the scene and reported the incident to Nassau County Police, while also informing police that the defendants had forcefully taken an item belonging to one of the victims earlier the same day. An investigation was conducted and the defendants were soon after located near the intersection of Nevada Street and North Broadway and placed under arrest without further incident.
