Available for adoption through Remember Me Rescue

Kramer
Kramer

**Senior Alert and Special Request** Ten-year-old Kramer is the sweetest fella you may ever meet. Having been surrendered by his owner, Kramer was in bad shape, likely used for breeding and neglected. At the shelter, Kramer was given much-needed medical treatment for an untreated mass on his face and was pulled out of the shelter by Remember Me Rescue for placement. Kramer is still in need of a forever home, preferably an older family who will just let him chill on their couch, take a stroll (he walks well on a leash), and share a snack. You’ll love his playful yet gentle personality (he loves playing fetch).  He is described by volunteers as the perfect companion! If you or someone you know would like to help Kramer find the loving home he truly deserves, please email Rmrescueny@gmail.com.

Available for adoption at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter

Betty20Boop
Betty Boop

**Senior Alert and Special Request** Betty Boop is a 9- to 10-year-old female pit bull terrier mix who is a total sweetheart! She is a very calm and low-key couch potato who absolutely loves people and attaches to them very easily. She would love nothing more than to spend her golden years snuggled up with her favorite person, lulling them to sleep with her adorable snore. Betty has significant arthritis in her hips and knees and will need a home that can help her manage this issue by giving her medications twice a day. Her ideal home will be an adult-only home without any other dogs or cats.

If you are interested in meeting Betty Boop, please call 631-360-7575.

Available for adoption through Allykatz

Valerie
Valerie

Melody and Valerie are a bonded pair of 12-week-old kittens described as very affectionate and playful. Do you have room in your heart and home for double-the-fun?

Jack20and20Jill
Jack and Jill

Also a bonded pair, Jack and Jill are about 1-year-old and must be adopted together.  Jack is a social butterfly and seeks out attention while Jill is more laid back. They both get along well with dogs.

Midnight20and20Magic
Midnight and Magic

**Double Adoption** When a fearful pair of devoted 5-year-old mini-panthers needed a place to land after losing the home they’d shared, NSALA invited them to a quiet, safe place to relearn how to trust humans. Magic (Adoption #BF1617) and her shyer brother Midnight (Adoption #BF1615) learned to shed their trepidation and enthusiastically entered into playtime with friends. Everyone is so proud of how far this sweet pair has come in such a short time, and the staff has promoted them to a more visible room in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. While Midnight might want to spend his time tucked into a loving embrace with Magic, Magic is ready to accept new friendships, enjoying full body rubs and yummy treats. Their ideal home is one with children 16 years and older, and adults experienced in helping fearful cats settle into the new routines of a family household. Time, patience, love, and treats make the recipe for success for Magic and Midnight.

Bonnie20and20Clyde
Bonnie and Clyde

**Double Adoption** If being adorable is a crime, then Bonnie (Adoption #H210322) and Clyde (Adoption #H210321) are guilty as charged! This purrfectly imperfect 4-month-old duo survived the great outdoors before being rescued locally and doted upon NSALA’s veterinarians. Bonnie arrived with an infected eye (a souvenir of that outdoor lifestyle) which needed to be enucleated. Clyde is being treated for chronic rhinitis, a covered medical condition through our Pet Health Centers. These minor imperfections add to their charm, and despite any adversity, they faced in the past, Bonnie and Clyde are partners in cuteness. You’ll find them crawling up visitors’ shoulders to get a better look at their hopeful heroes. You’re going to be swept away by their kitten antics and triumph over adversity. All it takes to be their superhero is a ride over to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center!

State Farm Jake (Adoption #BF3792) isn’t looking for benefits — just a great home! This 1-year-old old local rescue invested time with some loyal friends to gain confidence in his new, safe life. The magic of crunchy treats combined with loving care warmed up this sensitive boy who is now quite the charmer who begs for long petting sessions. Jake is seeking a calm household (with children 12 years old and above) so his confidence can continue to grow. Better take out some insurance on your heart because once State Farm Jake figures out you’re his person, he’ll claim it as his own!

In a short time, one-year-old Nacho (Adoption #BF3797) has endured a lot of changes, but NSALA knows the next change is the one worth waiting for. This bashful boy needs someone with gentle hands and experience coaxing shy cats to trust the humans who love them. Offering him treats is how you open his heart to the possibility that you may be the one for him. Children (10 years and older) are going to learn a lot about loving someone who didn’t know he needed to be loved. Want to be Nacho’s hero? Make him part of your family today!

Claude
Claude

When Claude’s (Adoption #R165189) family moved away, Animal League America moved in and offered him the opportunity of a brighter future! It’s clear Claude has known love before because he’s diligently working his way into all of the hearts of everyone he meets! This gentle four-year-old has lived with children, making him a wonderful choice for families. NSALA veterinarians discovered a minor liver condition easily managed by medication (given once each day which he devours up in his food.) This condition is covered through our Pet Health Centers, making it very easy to provide Claude the home he deserves. If you’ve been thinking about bringing someone special into your family, please let us introduce you to Claude today!

Lou
Lou

Lou (Adoption #BF3839) is a terrific 5-month-old tabby who was rescued locally and has nothing holding him back from living his best life with his first family. Be prepared to be entertained by his zeal for discovering new places. Your home will make a great new destination for him to explore. If you think you can keep up with Lou’s antics, he’s looking to make you his very best friend!
