More than 250 attendees gathered at Leonard’s Palazzo on Sept. 17 for the Silver Gold and Basket Night fundraiser, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Due to the pandemic, the 10th annual event had to be postponed from last year.
The committee took full advantage of the extra time to plan an even bigger event, which included more than 300 baskets in various tier values, a Cork Tales wine pull, a 50/50 raffle, a wheel spin for tickets and prizes, and a photo booth. Plus, each attendee went home with a swag bag valued at more than $400.
The fundraising totals are not yet in, but the committee had set a goal of raising $30,000.
