Bronx Men Arrested For Bethpage Robbery

NassauCountyPoliceDepartment.Logo .WebEighth Squad detectives report the arrest of two Bronx men for a robbery that occurred on Oct. 11 at 8:38 a.m. in Bethpage.


According to detectives, police responded to a 911 call for a 31-year-old male victim, who was walking through a parking lot located at 598 Stewart Ave., when he was approached by two males demanding money while threatening the use of a handgun. Upon arrival, officers were informed that one of the male subjects had reached into the victim’s right pocket and took his wallet before fleeing northbound on Stewart Avenue.

After a thorough investigation was conducted, Nathaniel Small and Angel Caballero, both of the Bronx, were located and arrested for the above crime.
No injuries were reported.
Small and Caballero are charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree robbery. Small has an additional charge of fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. Both were arraigned on Oct. 12 in First District Court in Hempstead.
