Cutchogue-based Disset Chocolate will ship the first packages in its new chocolate box subscription service on Jan. 17.
The North Fork chocolatiers are offering two types of quarterly memberships: the Disset Chocolate Club membership ($75 per box) and the Diamond membership ($150 per box). Both memberships will get you four boxes of Disset’s gourmet chocolates per year, as well as 10% off all classes and workshops. The Diamond membership also includes two free classes.
“We will curate a delicious seasonal membership box featuring our artisanal, hand crafted chocolates four times a year and have it delivered right to your door,” the Disset website states, noting that each box packs in chocolates, bonbons, and merchandise valued at more than $100.
For example, January’s box will come with the Winter Collection 9-piece box, Dark Chocolate Lovers 12-piece box, a peppermint bark bar, a hot chocolate bomb, signature hot chocolate mix, and a Disset chocolate coffee mug. Diamond members will also get two class vouchers in their boxes.
Classes are held in person at Atelier Disset, 28080 Main Rd. in Cutchogue, which opened March 2021. The store’s signature chocolate workshop has its participants paint on a chocolate canvas.
Subscription boxes will ship on Jan. 17, April 17, July 17, and Oct. 17. Boxes can ship nationwide and make great gifts. Membership cancellations must be made 30 days in advance of the next box shipment.
