Look at the belly on 2-year-old Meru (Adoption #D48071)! This sweet gal found herself in need of help but was unsure of her new surroundings. An apparent mistrust of humans led NSALA to believe she’d never received tender care from a loving hand prior to her arrival. Time in their quietest space, surrounded by devoted humans soon unearthed the whimsy that had been trapped inside this fun, young beauty. Now you’ll find Meru craving attention and playtime from her favorite human pals. Meru isn’t crazy about cat friends, so we’re looking for a home where she can feel free to be uniquely herself in the safety of experienced hands. She’ll thrive in an engaging, predictable family with older children (ages 16 and older) who can make her feel safe and loved.
When local heroes found 2-year-old Franny (Adoption #L80612) abandoned, they leapt into action to secure her a safe place where she could learn to trust humans again. Time and patience in a space to herself have yielded the best results; a once timid Franny is now robust with playful energy! NSALA is delighted to witness her transformation and want an experienced adult home to make every day as joyful for her as she’s made them for us. A quiet, consistent home is all Franny needs to find success in what will be her first happy, loving one. Franny easily overwhelms herself in the presence of other pets, so if you’re looking for only one cat to fill up the spaces in your heart, Franny wants you all to herself!
When Gizelle (Adoption #NCR5932) first arrived this spring, she needed assurance that she was indeed safe. Time in a sunny room with respectful cat friends and human cheerleaders has brought out the fun-loving Gizelle we’ve all come to enjoy. This terrific 2-year-old tabby can still be cautious in new situations, but a family with experienced adults (and children ages six and above) will quickly learn how to delight her with playtime and treats. Most of all, Gizelle longs to sun herself, content in knowing she’s safe and sound. We can’t wait for her to discover your windows and relax, knowing what it means to be a cherished member of the family!
**Double Adoption** After being rescued off the local streets, Esme (Adoption #BF3765) and Eagan (Adoption #BF3766) needed some tender, loving care. They’ve enjoyed time together in a peaceful room in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, and NSALA is thrilled with the quick progress they’ve made! Formally fearful Eagan is completely open to love and attention from cats and people alike. You’ll find her cuddling with one of her many friends in a ray of sunlight, but she’ll follow you for her helping of treats. Esme has always been the more playful of the two. She’s still a little shy about lots of human attention which is why they’re looking for a home with children age 12 and up, and adults experienced in nurturing away the fear from beloved felines. You’re going to be just as smitten as we are as you watch these very bonded one-year-old sisters discover the wonders of being members of a family at last!
Whatever adventures 2-year-old Galapagos (Adoption #D48059) may have lived prior to his arrival at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, this weary boy is keeping secret from everyone. The past is behind him, and better days are ahead so all you really need to know is he now expects gentle hands and yummy treats from any new humans he greets. If your quiet home (children 12 and up, please) has room to welcome a kitty content to leave an exciting but uncertain past behind him, Galapagos would love to fill any feline void you’ve been noticing. Together, and with an assist in the form of tasty encouragement, you’ll make a wonderful pair!
**Double Adoption** Despite the difficult life they shared before they were rescued, Chance (Adoption #BF3948) and her sister Spots (Adoption #BF3949) vowed to support each other furrever. You’ll find the siblings offering each other comfort as they navigate all the new firsts in their lives. Enjoying their time in cage-free rooms at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, these beautiful 1-year-olds have never known so much freedom. An experienced, quiet home is where they deserve to make a fresh start, so if you have older children and a patient heart, you may be exactly the hero they’ve been waiting for all this time.
**Double Adoption** Amy (Adoption #SCR3401) and Fawn (Adoption #SCR3402) are taking in the wonders of freedom in their sunny room at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. Climbing trees and pouncing on toys is a far cry from the overcrowded South Carolina municipal shelter they came from, but it’s nothing compared to the loving home we have in mind for them. If your heart is set on a pair of ten-month-old sisters to love eternally, Amy and Fawn are a purrfect choice!
