Students across Garden City Public Schools celebrated Read Across America Day on March 2. Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place on Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
Students and staff members in Garden City honored the day by participating in read-alouds, and book activities and crafts. Some students even dressed up as the Cat in the Hat. Students were excited to share their favorite books with their classmates, teachers and families at home.
