Angel is an 8-year-old Blue Nose Pit who has been a resident of the Animal Shelter for four years. April 14 will be Angel’s 4-year anniversary as a homeless dog, and she is long overdue to have her happily ever after. Angel has a huge heart and love for every new person she meets. She loves food, going for walks and car rides, the kiddie pool, and any toy she can get her paws on. Her perfect owner will have experience with large breed, strong-willed dogs, and will provide her with discipline and proper boundaries. Handsome fella alert! Floki is a happy guy who arrived in May 2021 around 3 years old. He enjoys getting attention and is very playful. He loves chasing a ball or taking dip in the pool.
Floki walks nicely on leash, and he really enjoys sitting at your side for loving. Floki has shown signs of being shy when a movement is very fast. Although he can be social with some dogs, he would do best with no other pets and kids older than 12.

**Double Adoption** Nine-month-olds Honshu (Adoption #H211098) and Hokkaido (Adoption #H211099) forged a tight bond when they struggled to survive on their own in the great outdoors last summer. NSALA has given them a safe place to land while they learn about the wonders of indoor living, and these fast learners are shedding their fears and trading them in for pets and treats. Hokkaido loves a good party! His sister Honshu is not quite as confident, but reassurance and treats warm her right up. If you have a peaceful home with children 8 years and older who can continue to throw them treats parties in their very first home, Honshu and Hokkaido would love to explore that opportunity with you!
**Senior Alert and Double Adoption** Tutelo (Adoption #BF2528) and Cayuga (Adoption #BF2529) have taken great comfort in each other’s company throughout their lives together. After their rough start, these 10-year-old brothers are ready to begin a fresh new chapter. Brave Cayuga has been a great mentor to his shyer brother who watches his interactions with trusted friends. You may now find Tutelo venturing out to play with kitten roommates, making up for time lost during their perilous beginnings. A patient, experienced adult will recognize the value of going slowly to build trust. Ideally, a predictable home with older children will make the waiting worth it. Who can resist their dreamy eyes? They’ll grab your heart from the moment you assure them they’re safe.
(Adoption #H211189) Looking for a quiet friend with a penchant for tasty treats? Look no further than Marvelous Mittens! Three-year-old Mittens took his time settling into shelter life after being rescued locally from the outdoors. Now he feels purrfectly comfortable being visited by his human friends and doesn’t mind sharing space with his roommates. His time outdoors left him FIV+ but this tender tuxedo will live the rest of his life safely indoors with a family who can appreciate his love of chasing feathers, his propensity for cat nip baths, and his fondness of a good, long chin scratch. Want to make Mittens part of your family? Come meet him at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center.
When three-year-old Flux (Adoption #LA2192) arrived from a shelter in Louisiana, he needed some coaxing to believe the scary part of his journey was behind him. The best way to learn trust turned out to be watching his feline friends! With his besties to guide him, you’ll now find the formally bashful boy lining up for treats and pets alongside his roommates, lingering for a little extra ear rubbing from the humans he’s grown to love. It didn’t take Flux long to figure out living safely inside is indeed wonderful! Flux is looking for a quiet household (with children 12 and older) who would be respectful of Flux’s need for security. Most importantly, Flux would love a cat friend to follow around in his new home…he’ll be the best friend your cat has ever known and become a beloved part of your family.
**Double Adoption** Malt (a girl) (Adoption #H210996) and Milkshake ( a boy) (Adoption #H210997) needed help when allergies became an issue in the home they’d shared for most of their lives. Now safely nestled in a cozy cubby together in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, this very bonded pair of 1-year-old siblings will love each other through this moment — hopefully a brief one — as we help them find a permanent solution to their housing problem. While they wait, Malt enjoys chatty moments with visitors while her brother chases toys around the room. While they’re overcoming their shyness, they’re seeking a calm household (with kids ages 8 and up) that will nurture away any apprehension they may bring with them as they resettle into family life as beloved pets.
**Senior Alert** It’s always sad for a senior to lose the home they’d known their whole lives, but 12-year-old Dempsey (Adoption #D43983) needed much more than moral support as he transitioned to a new life in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. This tender tabby needed a plan to restore him to optimum health. Newly diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism, Dempsey has successfully responded to daily medication. He also received entropion repair surgery which immediately alleviated him of his discomfort. These conditions will be covered through NSALA’s Pet Health Centers at cost. You’ll find Dempsey eager to repay the kindness he’s received, hopeful you’ll sit with him and rub his chin. Once you begin, you’ll never want to stop! Dempsey’s misfortune has turned into a new lease on life, and he’s hopeful to share his with someone as special as you.
In his short life, 1-year-old Adrienne (Adoption #T103369) has endured suffering no animal should have to experience. NSALA rescue partners in Tennessee put out an SOS for this victim who’d been found shot in the face and in need of immediate medical attention. Animal League America answered that call and shuttled him directly to our Pet Health Centers for a complete plan for his care. Despite the trauma he endured, Adrienne has proven to be a true survivor, putting his past behind him with a determined heart towards a bright future. At present, this little miracle has no long term restrictions other than eating soft food—how easy is that?! Even easier is how quickly you’ll fall in love with our most inspiring, thriving friend!
Tender Tucker (Adoption #G27800) is waiting to see what is ahead for him. The first months of his life have been full of adventure—more so than he’d hoped for. What 8-month-old Tucker really wants is to be settled into a chill life as a cherished member of a family. Looking for a quiet companion to nurture? This tuxedo wants nothing more than to be right by your side, enjoying a little less adventure and a lot more snuggles. Come meet Tucker at Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center.

Sally and Murph are 6-month-old kitties described as being very friendly, affectionate, and playful. They love kisses and are good with other cats and children too!
Anna and Valentin are 8 months old and are super playful with each other and their foster. They have a tendency to be shy with strangers (understandably so) but with time, they will definitely warm up in a loving home.
Carl and Carly are 5-month-old siblings and the only thing they love more than each other is getting love hugs from other cats. Let’s all collectively say “awwww”!
Kinsey and Junior are perfect for a home that already has furry friends residing in it. They are good with other cats and dogs, too! Kids older than 10 is suggested.
As always, thanks for reading and please remember to always adopt, never shop…pass it on!
