Poppie is a very playful, affectionate, and young little kitty, a little less than a year old. Poppie would love to be in her own home where she could play all day long. If you would like to meet her, text Alicia at 516-984-4525.
Available for adoption at the Babylon Animal Shelter
Heaven is a happy, sweet girl. At 2 years old, she loves to play in the yard and take walks with people. Heaven hasn’t been a huge fan of the other pups at the shelter and the kennel life is getting overwhelming for her after 6 months in the shelter. She absolutely loves snacks and treats and playing with a garden hose. Heaven will be a great study in learning new tricks with the payoff of the rewards she will get. For more information about adopting Heaven, contact the shelter at 631-643-9270.
Available for adoption through Tender Loving Cats
Tinkerbelle is a shy but so sweet 5-year-old cat who is absolutely stunning with her black and white coat. She will win you over with her beauty as she head butts you to show her love for you. Her favorite toys are ones with feathers that dangle and attract her attention. Tinkerbelle deserves a patient person who will allow her time to be spoiled and loved, which she so deserves.

Available for adoption at the Smithtown Animal Shelter
Linx is a 3-year-old German Shepherd who was taken in as a stray and never claimed. He is highly intelligent, well-mannered, and protective. Linx loves to play and can usually be found outside chasing after a ball or a stick. His future owner needs to be a strong leader who can provide him with structure and a set of rules. Linx should be the only pet in an adult-only home who has experience with his breed and can teach him new commands.
If you are interested in meeting Linx, please call ahead to schedule an hour to properly interact with him in a domestic setting, which includes our Meet and Greet Room, the dog runs, and our Dog Walk trail. For more information, please call the Smithtown Animal Shelter at 631-360-7575.
Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America
It’s not easy being Chirp (Adoption #H211279)! This locally rescued 9-month-old kitten has needed some reassurance that he’s in good hands. A steady flow of treats is making him feel like maybe his new, safe life is better after all. To continue building his confidence, he’s looking for a home with considerate children (above age 12) and adults experienced with reading this cat’s clear body language. Making him feel understood is a great way to build up his trust, and once he’s given you that part of his heart, you’ll have a grateful friend to cherish furever!
We’re over the moon for Moon (Adoption #H211281)! This handsome 3-year-old fella came to NSALA by way of a local rescuer who assured him his future is secure now that he’s in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. His initial hesitance has been replaced with a deep affection for treats, catnip, and ear-rubbing visitors. He’s a heartwarming choice for anyone looking to fill their heart with a devoted best friend!
**Double Adoption** When 8-year-olds Lavender (Adoption #BF3983) and Honey (Adoption #BF3984) lost their lifelong home recently, Animal League America stepped in to assure them they’d be safe. These very bonded ladies have quickly realized just how loved they are in their room in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. NSALA predicts they’ll slip easily into the hearts of the heroes who offer them a fresh start together in a quiet, loving home. All you’ll need to ensure their happiness is enough time to provide ear rubs and they’ll show you how easy they are to please.
NSALA expected 7-year-old Snowie (Adoption #H207320) to need a helping hand when she arrived, having lost the only home she’d ever known. Her plucky disposition has made a lasting impression, enchanting all of her new human friends in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. It’s likely she’s never shared a home with a cat before, so a quiet household as the only pet (with kids over age 8) would be ideal. Want to be the lucky recipient of endless head-butts from this stunning lady?
Sweet 10-month-old Simba (Adoption #SCR3139) recently lost his home, but NSALA has a good feeling his next one will be the best one. This handsome boy has plenty of love—and energy—to offer his new family, one experienced with energetic kitties. His exuberance may be a lot for young children but if your household would enjoy a lively new companion, Simba is your guy!
