Variety Child Learning Center held a fundraising event on June 16 called Viva Las Variety! The 150 people in attendance included Variety staff, families, supporters, and friends.
Guests enjoyed a fun night of playing blackjack, roulette poker, Texas Hold ’Em, and more. Dinner and dessert, especially the ice cream truck surprise, completed the event. Raffle and game prizes included trips to Panama, Mets tickets, gift cards to various restaurants and boutiques, and spa packages.
Variety Child Learning Center would like to give a special thanks to those who sponsored the event including Sentinel Benefits, DLA Capital Partners, HKM Associates, Mr. & Mrs. Camus, Landow and Landow Architects AIA, Lamb Insurance Services, Eastern American Technologies, Cerini & Associates, The Difference Card, and Hanover Community Bank, as well as all the restaurants that generously donated the dinner and desserts, including Bagel Master, Chris and Tony’s, Gyrolicious, Embassy Diner, Jersey Mike’s Subs/DQ, La Bottega of Plainview and Carle Place, Luigi Q Italian Restaurant, Mim’s, Mogu Modern Chinese Kitchen, Phil’s Pizzeria & Restaurant Syosset, Patrizia’s of Long Island, Tesoro’s, and T.O.A. Asian Fusion, and those who donated the donuts and pastries.
