Westbury Arts launched its free outdoor summer concert series with a performance by Paige Patterson on June 30 at The Piazza Ernesto Strada, 200 Post Ave., Westbury.
Here is the line-up:
July 7 – Arena Rock Tribute (rock, classic rock)
July 14 – Jimbo Ro and Friends (blues, jazz, island)
July 21 – Panic (power pop, rock, dance)
July 28 – La Cassandra (Latin pop)
Aug. 4 – Mala Waldron (jazz, blues)
Aug. 11 – Soul Purpose (disco, funk, soul)
Aug. 18 – X-Session (rock, classic rock)
Aug. 25 – Sabori – The Salsa and Latin Jazz Band (Latin jazz, salsa)
Sept. 1 – Nonstop to Cairo (ska, hip-hop, funk)
Additionally, Friday, Sept. 16 is Westbury Arts’ 11th Annual Short Film Concert presented by Asbury Shorts. (Rain date Sept. 17) This is an evening of award-winning short films.
In case of rain, concerts will be held at the Westbury Community/Senior Center at 360 Post Ave. in Westbury.
