The annual Rise of the Jack-o-Lanterns event will return at a new location this October, and pre-sale tickets are now available, according to its website.
Previously held at Old Westbury Gardens since 2018, the month-long carved pumpkin extravaganza will now be held at USDAN Summer Camp for the Arts in Wheatley Heights.
“In the past, our trail featured about a dozen different themes,” the Rise of the Jack-o-Lanterns webpage states. “This year, we’re going bigger, much, much bigger. Come see over 50 major family-friendly themes featuring pop-culture and Halloween icons that will surely delight visitors of all ages.”
In addition, organizers say there will be more than 50 spooky musical sequences playing along the trail as guests walk through the lit displays. The 4,200-foot-long trail will feature pumpkins carved by professional artists into fun designs, characters, spooky faces, and more.
“We’re so excited because our new venue partner, USDAN Summer Camp for the Arts, is helping us spread the visitor count over more nights, reducing the number of guests on-trail each night,” the website states. “Plus, the parking lots at USDAN are much smaller, so visitor volume will naturally be lower. The result will be less than half the nightly visitor count than in the past, allowing for a much more intimate trail experience for your family.”
Tickets are required to attend the Rise of the Jack-o-Lanterns event. Discounted tickets are on sale now at jackolanterns.com.
