Long Island Crisis Center Holds Annual Walk in Long Beach
The Long Island Crisis Center held its 14th annual “Let’s Walk, Let’s Talk: Stepping Together to Prevent Suicide” event in Long Beach on Sunday, Sept. 18.

Supporters walked the Long Beach boardwalk to raise awareness and funds for LICC’s suicide prevention services. The event raised more than $50,000 for the organization, which is based in Bellmore and has a 24/7 crisis hotline: 516-679-1111.
Long Island Crisis Center also includes PFY, formerly known as Pride for Youth, which provides social programming and services for LGBTQ youth on Long Island.
