Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars, a new competition show where celebrities perform magic on stage, premieres Saturday, Oct. 22.
Each episode of the television series features Criss Angel, a bestselling Las Vegas magician who hails from Long Island, coaching two celebrities, who then compete and perform the magic tricks in front of a live audience. Angel sits on the judges panel with comedian Loni Love and fellow magician Lance Burton, who score each performance Dancing with the Stars-style.

“For the very first time, you’re going to see celebrities … just really diverse entertainment people coming together with their mad skills, learning my craft, learning my illusions, and performing them in front of a live audience,” Angel said in a recent interview on The CW Las Vegas.
The first episode, “The Greatest Levitation of All Time,” will have actors Corbin Bleu and Miles Brown going head-to-head with one of Angel’s most show stopping illusions. Other celebrities on the series will include U.S. Olympian Lolo Jones, actor Frankie Muniz, singer Omarion, and ballroom dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
The highest-scoring celebrities will return for the season finale and compete for the golden wand.
“This show is fun; it’s something I’m so excited about because it connects to people for different reasons,” Angel said. “It’s funny, it’s scary, it’s mysterious, and it’s emotional.”
Criss Angel’s Magic with the Stars premieres on the CW on Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. All episodes will be free to watch on CWTV.com the day after they air.
