Rockville Centre-raised comedian Amy Schumer helped Madonna announce her 2023 World Tour on Tuesday in a celebrity-packed social media video.
The video features pop superstar Madonna surrounded by famous friends such as Lil Wayne, Jack Black, Diplo, Eric Andrew, Judd Apatow, and more playing a game of Truth-or-Dare.
“Madonna, I dare you to do a world tour and play your greatest mutha-f–in’ hits,” Schumer says in the video, which can be found on Madonna’s Instagram and YouTube pages.
The 64-year-old Queen of Pop, of course, obliges, and will embark on The Celebration Tour beginning in Canada July 15. Madonna will cover four decades of her most popular songs, which include “Like a Virgin,” “Material Girl,” “Vogue,” “La Isla Bonita,” and more.
Madonna will take the show to Madison Square Garden in New York City on Aug. 23 and 24. Tickets go on sale Jan. 20 at 10 a.m.
Last fall, Schumer released a new season of Inside Amy Schumer and hosted Saturday Night Live. She was previously busy on comedy tours and starring in the Hulu series Life & Beth.
