The event benefited both Beyond the Badge NY and Fires and Drums Foundation.
The Fires & Drums Foundation was created to honor William Tolley who died while fighting a fire in Brooklyn. William left behind a wife and a 9-year-old daughter.
The foundation provides support to the families of fallen First Responders and Military members who suffer a tragedy as our family has.
Beyond the Badge NY is a local nonprofit that raises suicide and mental health awareness within law enforcement. The mission is to reduce the growing epidemic of suicides by breaking the stigma surrounding officer’s coming forward for mental health treatment.
The organization provides support to not only officers in need of assistance, but also to the children and families of officers who died by suicide.
