The Chocolate Expo Returns to Long Island This Sunday
Chocolate lovers, this is one foodie event you don’t want to miss: The Chocolate Expo returns to Long Island at Hofstra University’s David S. Mack Sports & Exhibition Complex on Sunday, March 12.
The Chocolate Expo will feature dozens of chocolate makers and other food vendors, so attendees are encouraged to come with their empty stomachs and a sweet tooth. There will not only be chocolate but also other sweet and savory snacks such as empanadas, cheeses, wines, specialty foods, beer and cider, and more.
Dubbed “the official home of chocolate, food, and fun,” the event will also host live entertainment at every hour throughout the day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., including kids activities such as free face painting, balloon animals, and crafts from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Live entertainers will include The Extreme Magic of Eric Wilzig, DJ Chef Beats & Sweets Interactive Cooking Show, an appearance by Paris Themmen, the actor who starred in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, and more.
Vendors will include Adirondack Winery, All American Wontons, Bang Cookies, Chocolate Moonshine Fudge, Cozy Tea Loft, DaVinci Chocolatier, Lily’s Chocolate Paradise, Swizzled Desserts, and many more.
Ticket prices are $20 per adult in advance or $30 at the door if available. Tickets for children ages 5 to 12 are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. There are also $10 tickets available online for an entry of 4 p.m. or later.
