Cameron Engineering Merges With National Firm IMEG Corp.
Cameron Engineering, one of New York’s leading consulting, planning, and engineering firms, is merging with IMEG Corp., one of the largest engineering firms in the United States.
Long Island-based Cameron Engineering, which also has Manhattan and White Plains offices, has been serving clients for 38 years. It is led by founder John Cameron, whose strong New York presence will add to IMEG’s 75 office locations nationwide, from Boston to California.
“The merger provides sustainability and growth potential for all our employees as well as our clients and teaming partners,“ Cameron said. “IMEG’s size and expertise also allows us to expand upon the innovative approaches and results-driven solutions we deliver to our clients.”
“We are excited to continue our East Coast expansion and add Cameron Engineering & Associates to our team,” said IMEG President/CEO Paul VanDuyne. “Their full-service capabilities and market sector expertise align perfectly with IMEG, allowing us to serve more clients as a New York corporation.”
Cameron and Joe Amato will continue to manage the firm, along with experienced engineering professionals Nick Kumbatovic, Mike Hults, and Rich Zapolski. The company is enthusiastically looking forward to its next chapter of business, Cameron said.
