Music Scholarships Available to Students via Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame

Students from Nassau, Suffolk, Queens, and Brooklyn can now apply for Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF)’s 2023 scholarship program.

Each year the organization chooses a group of students to receive the award. The $500 scholarships are for graduating high school seniors committed to pursuing a career in music and who have been accepted to a college or university full time.

“For over a decade, the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame has been delighted to distribute tens of thousands of dollars for scholarships, providing support to numerous aspiring professional musicians and music teachers,” said Tom Needham, LIMEHOF Education Committee Chairman.

The LIMHOF Education Committee will choose the scholarship recipients based on an essay, high school transcript, and letter of recommendation. The application deadline is May 12.
