Available for adoption at the Town of Smithtown Animal Shelter
Meet the Smithtown Animal Shelter’s Pet of the Week, Santiago Smalls! This sweet Terrier/Chihuahua Mix is estimated to be 4 to 6 years old. He is a little guy with a huge heart and is an absolutely delightful companion. Santiago is a big fan of meeting new people and making some new friends! He is just figuring out what it means to be walked on a leash, but he is quite the quick learner. He may require a belly band when he is first getting used to the household. Santiago is very unsure around other animals, but with proper introductions, he will likely do well with other pets and older children. Santiago Smalls would be a welcome addition to any family looking for some kisses and love.
If you are interested in meeting Santiago, please fill out an application to schedule time to properly interact with him in a domestic setting, which includes the shelter’s Meet and Greet Room, the dog runs, and Dog Walk trail. Call 631-360-7575 for more information today!
