The Town of Huntington has its elections this year, along with all of the other Long Island towns.
Notably among Long Island’s towns, however, the Town of Huntington does not have a Town Supervisor race this year — the current Town Supervisor, Edmund J. Smyth, was elected to a four-year term in 2021, meaning the Town of Huntington will not have another supervisor race until 2025.
There are still important races to vote in if you live in the Town of Huntington, though, which encompasses northwest Suffolk County.
Villages in the Town of Huntington include Lloyd Harbor, Northport, Huntington Bay, and Asharoken.
Hamlets in the Town include Cold Spring Harbor, Melville, Dix Hills, Commack, Greenlawn, Huntington Station, and others.
