American Red Cross on Long Island raised over $300,000 during its Long Island Heroes Celebration on October 26, 2023, at the Cradle of Aviation. The event was hosted by Elisa DiStefano of NewsdayTV. Jose Dominguez, CEO of the American Red Cross on Long Island helped to present awards to the events’ honorees: Corporate Leadership Honoree: First Quality Enterprises, LLC of Garden City, NY; Humanitarian Honorees: Barbara and Robbie Donno of Manhasset, NY; and Good Samaritan Hero Honoree: Kevin Rivera of Uniondale, NY.
The American Red Cross depends on the generous support of the American public to fulfill its vital mission. Proceeds raised during the fundraiser will enable the Red Cross to prepare for, respond to, and help people affected by disasters like hurricanes, fires, and countless other crises. The American Red Cross on Long Island has served Nassau and Suffolk counties for over 100 years.
