Kevin Law, partner and vice president of TRITEC Real Estate Company, was recently awarded the H. Lee Dennison Public Service Award. The award, presented by former Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone at a ceremony in Hauppauge last week, is the highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual in Suffolk County
“Kevin Law’s illustrious career spans both public and private sectors, showcasing a commitment to public service that transcends political boundaries,” Bellone said. “As an advisor to County Executives and Governors, Law has played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of Suffolk County. His influence extends beyond party lines and government levels, making him a rare and impactful public servant.”
Law served as the Director of Real Estate for Suffolk County and later as the Chief Deputy County Executive, overseeing critical investments in housing and open space preservation.
“Law has held key positions in various high-level public and private organizations, earning him the moniker ‘Mr. Long Island,'” Bellone’s proclamation also stated. “As the CEO of the Long Island Association, the region’s largest business organization, he led the coalition that successfully shepherded the transformative Third Track project to approval. Law’s extensive contributions include serving as LIPA CEO, Long Island Housing Partnership Chairman, Stony Brook University Council Chairman, and NYS Empire State Development Chairman. Furthermore, he co-chaired the Long Island Regional Economic Development Council.”
In a news release, TRITEC Real Estate Company said that they “congratulate Kevin Law on this well-deserved honor and looks forward to continuing to benefit from his invaluable leadership.”
