Town of North Hempstead Councilmember Christine Liu recently had the pleasure of meeting with and congratulating members of the Lake Success Police Department for their courageous efforts while responding to a burglary attempt on Meadow Woods Road in the Village of Lake Success.

Officers were responding to the call when they were involved in a collision with the fleeing criminals’ vehicle, which resulted in a foot-chase and the eventual capture and arrest of three individuals. Lake Success Police Officers Christopher Bryan, Patrick Sheridan, Michael Palma, Antonio Maltempi, and Sergeant Thomas Fernandez were the responding law enforcement officials responsible for the apprehension of the criminals. During their follow-up investigation, the officers discovered that the three individuals attempted to break-in to a residence on Fox Hunt Lane as well.

Councilmember Liu presented each of the officers with a Proclamation of Recognition from the Town of North Hempstead as a token of her immense gratitude for their service to the residents of the Village of Lake Success and the greater North Hempstead community.
