THE JAMES
Located in the village of Babylon, this American brasserie restaurant hosted its grand opening celebration on Wednesday, May 22 to welcome guests with its plentiful dining accommodations, a menu friendly to all, and distinctive cocktails and wine selections.
The James offers a multilevel fine dining ambiance with a semi-open kitchen and outdoor patio seating. The menu includes a raw bar, pasta bar, fresh seafood catches, and a butcher board with numerous aged meats. The wine menu features hundreds of options to pair with your dinner, by the bottle or by the glass, imported from all around the world.
Formerly the Babylon Carriage House dating back to the 1870s, The James has been designed as a place of elegance with plenty of space for private events.

PRESS 195
Beyond just a sandwich shop, Press 195 will satisfy your cravings for comfort food with both sweet and savory tastes. Nonetheless, the notable pressed sandwiches are always a favorite on the menu as Press 195 opens a third location in Plainview.
With nearly 30 options of hot-pressed personalized sandwiches, there is a creation for everyone. The recently developed Plainview menu also allows foodies to indulge in unique burgers, fries with specialty sauces, salads, and even knishes.
After establishing the panini eatery in 2002, owner Brian Karp has been successful with Bayside and Rockville Center locations. He opened the Plainview location at the beginning of May.
