Meet the Smithtown Animal Shelter’s Pet of the Week, Cadbury! This healthy, fluffy, all white, domestic (male) rabbit was brought to the shelter as a stray. Animal experts initially believed there was a possibility someone would come looking for him, but no one did.  Cadburys captivating personality suits his majestic good looks. He is very inquisitive and boasts a natural sense of adventure. While Cadbury is cautiously beginning to make new furry friends at the shelter, he will instantly befriend anyone willing to share a sweet treat with him. He’s all personality!

Cadbury would thrive in a home that can provide space for him to run and exercise. Small cages are not recommended, especially for a boy his size. Let’s help Cadbury begin his greatest adventure yet and find a forever home where he will be idolized as a cherished member of a lucky family.

If you are interested in meeting Cadbury, please fill out an application to schedule time to properly interact with your prospective soul mate in a domestic setting. For more information regarding rescue animals available for adoption visit:. TownofSmithtownAnimalShelter.com

*Double Adoption* One-year-old Rabbit and Jackalope are prepared to win the race to your heart. New situations can be scary for these bonded brothers, but Rabbit quickly warms up with treats and playtime. Jackalope loves to play too, but he’ll need a little more encouragement to be fully won over which is why a cat-experienced home with older children would be best for them. If you’ve got a soft heart for a tender pair of tabby brothers, consider being the somebody they’ve been waiting for.

*Senior Alert* Eight-year-old Devo hit some hard times before finding his way back to Animal League America. Now safe inside once again, this charmer is all gratitude—not catitude—and looks forward to living his best life indoors with you. Devo wants to take hold of your heart and never let go. You’ll know true love and gratitude when you bring him into your home.

*Senior Alert and Double Adoption* 9-year-old Cooper and 11-year-old Callie had a rough start to life, but they’ve stayed by each other’s side through all the upheaval. Callie is so thrilled for the opportunity, she always flips belly up to welcome us into her trust circle, while Cooper regales all with anecdotes of his long-ago life. Their complimentary personalities prove that opposites attract.
