Available for adoption at North Shore Animal League America
*Special Request* 10-month-old Cianna’s start to life may have been rough, but her soft landing in the gentle hands of North Shore Animal League America was just what this lovable kitten needed to get back on track towards the life she deserves. Cianna enjoyed the best care available in a foster home while vets activated a successful plan to treat her megaesophagus. Her condition will be covered at cost through their Pet Health Centers. Cianna hasn’t met a lap she doesn’t love, and while she greets new situations with breathy excitement (likely due to a rib injury as a baby), she captivates all with her purrfectly imperfect charm. Just look at those polydactyl baseball mitts and you can’t help but be smitten!
No need to adjust your monitor: Pasha is indeed that stunning. Yep, he’s the real deal when it comes to glorious orange guys, and he’s looking for a love connection who’ll bring him back into a home where he belongs. His recent return due his owner moving away left him bereft, and in need of love and patience to reassure him a bright future is ahead for him. Because he can be sensitive in new situations, especially around other cats, his happiness awaits in a cat-experienced home where he’s the only pet, with children over 10-years-old willing to follow his lead as he settles back into life as part of the family. It’s not hard to fall in love with this playful 3-year-old pal; he’s as charming as he is beautiful!
You’re not going to believe this, but tiny kitten-like Jasmine recently nurtured her own eight kittens before completing her duties in our nursery. 8 kittens! This delightful little one-year-old is a superhero, but she’d be a happy feline in an ordinary, loving home. She’s proven to be a gentle friend to her roommates, sidling up to her likeminded friends for some pleasant socializing. Everything she’s experiencing is fresh, new, and exciting, and she’d love to share more experiences with you! You get to be her hero if you take Jasmine home.
Take one look at 2-year-old Eddie’s crooked grin and you’ll be smitten for life! That face tells of a hard yet adventurous past he was happy to leave far behind in Oman, with his heart set on a fresh start here in Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. This unusual boy is working hard at making a big impression with visitors to his room. His penchant for plopping into laps is sure to lead him to his desired goal: a ride to his furever home with you!
One-year-old Leon’s story began when a hero rescued him from a life struggling on the streets of busy San Juan, Puerto Rico. His life took a new, safer direction once he was on board a flight to New York en route to Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center. While this timid boy takes his time acclimating to all that is new, the way he lifts his chin to receive rubs and offers soft purrs and eye blinks… well, that’s really all he needs to do to melt the hearts of all who greet him. If you’re open to welcoming home a quiet, grateful companion, look no further than Leon.
While many of one-year-old Hopper’s roommates are embracing so much freedom and space in the room they share in Bianca’s Furry Friends, this timid boy prefers a cube to himself where he can observer and take in all in. Cautiously viewing from a comfy bed may be the safest activity he’s experienced in his young life after surviving the streets of Kabul, Afghanistan. If you’re looking for someone super special to spoil, Hopper would be happy to land in your home furever!
Adorable 3-year-old Amy boasts a big purrsonality for such a tiny, little girl. No doubt, she used that to her advantage while surviving the treacherous conditions for cats back in Afghanistan. Now safely ensconced in a sunny room with toys, treats, and friends, she can hardly believe her good luck. Amy loves to explore her new horizons and is always belly-up for attention. Want to give her something worth purring about? Home sweet home had alluded her—until now! Bring this international traveler home and welcome her into your family!
While Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center is full of colorful characters exploring their good fortune, one-year-old Victoria takes a quieter, gentler approach. You’ll find this damsel rescued from Afghanistan nesting in quiet spaces away from the commotion, intent upon leaving drama far behind her. Victoria’s heart is set on fully embracing a simple life, one as the only pet in her first real home. If your lap needs a cat, she’s your girl!
