Nassau County Legislature Alternate Deputy Minority Leader Siela A. Bynoe (D – Westbury) recently celebrated the service of Westbury United Methodist Church’s Rev. Dr. Elon J. Sylvester alongside her government colleagues. Rev. Sylvester’s family and friends were present for the celebration
Rev. Sylvester was presented with citations by Westbury Village Trustee Beaumont Jefferson, Town of North Hempstead Councilman Robert Troiano and Legislator Bynoe. All present commended him on his impact on the church and community.
Rev. Sylvester and his family plan to travel to the Gambia to build a church and a school.
