The Great Neck Library All Ages Summer Challenge officially kicked off on June 27.

The library hosted many events such as adventures in playtime, teen pottery paint class, a science adventure and a talent show. In addition, Assemblywoman Gina Sillitti participated in storytime for families, bringing her own son, William along for the fun.

The Great Neck Library website has instructions for how Great Neck readers of all ages can participate this summer to earn prizes and win raffles. There are logs each age group can download to keep track of their reading progress and check off completed challenges. The local library branch can check your challenge and reading log as you progress in the Summer Challenge.

The Great Neck Library hosts storytimes, arts and crafts programs and book clubs each week for all age groups to participate in to help complete their summer challenges. Visit the website to view the schedule and register in advance.
