On Wednesday, July 17 Nassau County Legislature Deputy Minority Leader Arnold W. Drucker (D – Plainview) attended the grand re-opening of the newly renovated Dunkin’ on Jackson Avenue in Syosset. The re-opening was attended by Scott Campbell of Metro Franchising and the Syosset business community, in addition to the Deputy Minority Leader’s office.
“For so many of us, the Jackson Avenue Dunkin’ has been a staple of countless morning commutes starting at the Syosset LIRR station, and it is wonderful to see that this community staple is still going strong,” Deputy Minority Leader Drucker said.
Attendees received complementary Dunkin’ merchandise, special VIP offers, discounts and entry into Dunkin’s Free Coffee for a Year giveaway at the event.
Campbell donated $5,000 to the Viscardi Center alongside the Sunkin’ Joy in Childhood Foundation.
Drucker presented a Nassau County Legislature Citation to Campbell and his team in honor of the occasion.
“It was a pleasure to congratulate Scott Campbell and his entire team for their continued success and thank them for commemorating this milestone by donating to the Viscardi Center and empowering young people in our area to thrive in the face of disabilities.”
