The Village of Great Neck Plaza’s 2024 summer concert series has hit the streets of Great Neck this summer, with more scheduled to continue the fun through the end of the season.
Starting on June 25 and continuing each Tuesday evening since, the concert series has presented a diverse array of musical genres. Featured artists include The Almost Brothers Band, Liverpool Shuffle, The Mr. Shabbos Show Band, Pat Farrell and the Cold Spring Harbor Band, Rusty Spur Band and Echoes of the Eagles.
“We are very pleased with the large audiences our concerts have attracted,” Great Neck Plaza Mayor Ted Rosen said. “We have sought to provide concerts featuring performers who perform diverse music genres. We believe we have done that and the size of the audiences and their very positive reactions have confirmed that.”
The concert series continues each Tuesday evening in August at 8 p.m. in Firefighters Park on Grace Avenue in Great Neck Plaza.
The upcoming concerts will feature jazz, Motown, disco and classic rock. The remaining schedule will feature New Millennium Jazz Band “Sinatra and Beyond” on Aug. 13, Deverne Williams, Motown the Sound of Detroit and Carol Williams, Legendary Disco Diva of the Salsoul Orchestra on Aug. 20 and StreetFighter “The Best Rolling Stones Tribute Band on the Planet” on Aug. 27.
Free parking is available on Tuesday evenings after 6 p.m. in the Grace Avenue Municipal Parking Lot across the street from Firefighters Park.
