Calling all artists! Showcase your talent at Farmingdale’s 13th Annual Art in the Park Exhibit, Show & Sale on Sunday, Sept. 15, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on the Village Green, 361 Main St.
The event is planned each year by the Farmingdale Cultural Arts Committee. It is free to exhibit artwork and attend. Artists interested in exhibiting must register in advance with the committee by calling 516-249-0093, emailing arodenburg@farmingdalevillage.com or stopping by Village Hall for the an application / event details.
Ribbons will be awarded for first, second, and third place, as well as an honorable mention.
Long Island artist Elaine Faith Thompson and other amazing Long Island artists will showcase their work. Children through fifth grade can bring their own 8 1/2″ x 11″ drawing to add to the clothesline wound around the Green and receive a participation sticker.
The rain date is Sept. 22.
