Halloween House Long Island is set to reopen on Friday, Sept. 27 to welcome back fall.
The attraction, designed to be “spooky, not scary,” is located at 358 N Broadway in Hicksville.
Entrance and parking are near the Round 1 Arcade and movie theater.
“Our goal is to give you an amazing Halloween experience, not scare you to death or make you uncomfortable,” The Halloween House website states. “No fear. Just fun.” There are no actors, no jump-scares, and no gore.
“We have creepy spiderwebs, ghouls, and graveyards, but nothing that will make you or anyone you attend with scared or upset. Our goal is to provide you with an amazing and memorable Halloween season experience, not to make you nervous or put you on edge,” the website adds.
The attraction features a Beetlejuice illusion room, haunted carnival, glow room, the “To Fright Show”, zombie bunker, haunted hotel room, “shriek” easy, and more.
According to the Halloween House FAQ, groups typically take 40-45 minutes to walk through the attraction, but they are welcome to take longer, as there is no rush out of it.
Tickets are required for entry, and the Halloween House staff recommend purchasing them in advance to reserve your spot. However, the attraction will still accommodate guests who are late to their ticket time or need to reschedule, so long as they attend during operating hours.
Hours of operation will be: Monday-Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Halloween House will officially close on November 3.
