Rabbi David Katz of Temple Or Elohim was ordained as a rabbi on June 28. Oyster Bay Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino honored and congratulated Katz on the achievement and presented him with a citation from the town.
The Town of Oyster Bay said Katz often leads the town in prayer at board meetings and plays an integral role in the town’s annual holiday concert series.
Saladino congratulated Katz on his achievement and thanked him for his hard work and dedication to the community.
