Three students from The Wheatley School in the East Williston School District have been recognized for their artistic abilities and selected to participate in a 10-week intensive Drawing and Graphic Arts program at Adelphi University.
Senior Dayanna Sinche-Barzallo and juniors Gillian Roberts and Logan Roberts will
participate in the “For the Love of Arts” program from Sept. 22 to Nov. 11.
The series offers high school students the opportunity to immerse themselves in their passion, whether it be business, writing, creating or the performing arts. In addition to honing their skills, participants will build connection with Adelphi University’s faculty and gain valuable insight from keynote speakers and industry panelists.
The program fosters an engaging environment where students can collaborate with
peers who share similar interests.
