Three Syosset students have been selected by the New York State School Music Association to perform at this year’s Piano Showcase.
Senior Aaron Liu, junior Sue Nian and sixth grader Caleb Chen are three of a dozen students chosen for this showcase statewide.
To qualify for this recognition, students must score a 100 on a NYSSMA Level 6 performance. Level 6 is the highest level of difficulty students compete at.
Students must also submit an audition recording to be evaluated by a panel of judges.
The showcase will be held this December in Rochester.
