Post Commander Bob Murray states that on Veterans Day we honor the service of all Veterans. Our Veterans are part of us, part of our history. It is fitting and proper that we honor them for their courage, loyalty, service, and sacrifice.
The village’s Veterans Day Ceremony and its Military Tribute Banner Program honors veterans and exemplifies Floral Park’s commitment to “always remember” and to extend a heartfelt thank you and welcome home to all our Veterans.
The Post thanked Mayor Kevin M. Fitzgerald, the board of trustees, the police, fire, and public works departments for their support of the Veterans Day ceremony.
