Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, a leader in shaping the future of pluralistic Judaism on the western North Shore, will join Temple Tikvah of New Hyde Park for a Family Havdalah and Craft Night on Saturday, Nov. 23, in Temple Tikvah’s Beber Auditorium.

All are welcome to mark the close of Shabbat with a fun-filled craft program run by Krafty Hands, where children will paint their own T-shirt beginning at 5 p.m.

“We are excited to partner with Temple Tikvah for this and other events, so our students and families can get to know other Reform Jewish families on Long Island’s North Shore,” said Temple Beth-El’s Rabbi Megan Brumer. “We want to join together to create an even stronger Jewish community.”

Dinner and a Havdalah service will follow the T-shirt painting.

The cost for the evening is $10 per adult. Temple members’ children younger than 18 can attend for free, and the participants may bring nonmember friends for $10 each. Register at tinyurl.com/Nov23Craft by Nov. 20.

Temple Tikvah is located at 3315 Hillside Ave. in New Hyde Park.
