Locust Valley seniors commit to college for athletics

Four Falcons signed letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college on Nov. 13.

Seniors Celeste Field, Braydan Haas, Katherine Nabet and Owen Pye committed to college programs.

The district congratulates the four students for their commitments: 

  • Celeste Field committed to Clemson University for gymnastics.
  • Braydon Haas committed to Manhattanville College for field hocket.
  • Katherine Nabat committed to Jacksonville University for lacrosse.
  • Owen Pye committed to Pace University for lacrosse.

The four celebrated at a signing ceremony with coaches, family and friends in the high school gym. 

“Through your craft, you have inspired your teammates, coaches and community,” Athletic Director Danielle Turner Cosci said. 

“Your dedication to athletics and academics has helped to raise expectations for our programs, and we are grateful for the impact you have had here in Locust Valley,” she said.
