The Glen Cove Rotary is about to celebrate 100 years of serving the Glen Cove community.
The motto of Rotary is “Service Above Self.” In keeping with that theme, the Glen Cove Rotary Club dedicated their Fall Fundraiser to the family of Eric Hansen.
Eric is battling a rare form of childhood cancer. The event was held at the Glen Cove Anglers Club.
With the help of local businesses who purchased sponsorships and donations from both club members and the community, we were able to raffle off more than 25 baskets and a bicycle. We also had a 50/50 raffle.
We are so proud that we were able to present to the Hansen family a generous donation to let them know the community is behind them in their journey for the health of young Eric. T
