On Oct. 24, the Carle Place High School Key Club, led by their adviser Ms. Buffalino hosted their annual Dancing with the Frogs. \
This exciting night featured Halloween-themed dances choreographed by students and performed by Carle Place MS/HS staff, all competing for the Lily Pad Trophy. Students from Cherry Lane, Rushmore Avenue School, Carle Place Middle School and Carle Place High School also performed.
The staff dancers were judged by a panel of experts including Mr. Espinal, Mr. Breslin, Dr. Alexis and Emily Cunha.
Congratulations to the winning pairs: fourth place went to Mr. Christ and Ms. Castillo, third place to Mr. Randazzo and Ms. Valerio, second place to Dr. Leffler and Ms. Ostroff, and the winners of the night, Dr. Kelly and Mr. Vella.
The event raised $2,200, which will be donated to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation in Jillian Breslin’s name. A special thank you to Mr. Limone, Mr. Yankow, Mr. Krause, Wayne, Vincenzo, Ms. Barilla, Ms. Bambino, Austin, Yianne and Bill, as well as everyone who donated and participated.
