The Great Neck Library is hosting a workshop designed to help individuals cultivate healthy relationships with themselves and others while addressing and reducing feelings of loneliness.

Participants will learn how to foster meaningful connections and enhance their overall well-being through a combination of interactive discussions, practical exercises and evidence-based strategies.

Carol Leitner, who received her MBA in health care administration from Mount Sinai School of Medicine/Baruch College, has been marketing, supporting and educating the holistic health community for over 20 years through Meet Up organizations totaling 7,000 members: The Wellness and Entrepreneurs Exchange, Holistic Living on Long Island, and The Long Island Entrepreneurs Meet Ups.

She has produced hundreds of health events and a number of Health Expos on Long Island. Leitner was awarded The Outstanding Leadership Award from Bob Proctor’s organization for her work and dedication to the holistic health field.

She is the sales director for Natural Awakenings Magazine, voted No. 5 in the U.S. for health and fitness. Leitner also teaches various yoga and bodywork sessions.

The workshop will be held in the Great Neck Library Community Room at 159 Bayview Ave. in Great Neck on Tuesday, Jan. 7 at 11 a.m.
