Students in peer leadership classes at Herricks High School are proud to participate in an outreach program that offers them the opportunity to share their time, energy and smiles with local senior citizens.
During the visits, students and seniors engage in arts and crafts, games and group activities while enjoying treats and conversation.
This intergenerational exchange is a highlight for students and senior alike, providing an opportunity to share stories and experiences and develop mutual respect and admiration between the groups.
