Each year, over 300,000 students nationwide take the American Mathematics Competition, a rigorous problem-solving challenge for high school students.

The East Williston School District’s Wheatley School had 8th grader Jaden Zhu and senior Dian Yang scored in the top 2.5% of all test-takers and have been invited to take the American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME).
