Four student musicians from Manhasset Secondary School were recently selected to perform with the All-Eastern Honors Ensembles at the 2025 National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Eastern Division Conference.
Students representing Manhasset at the prestigious event include Thomas Grygiel in the mixed chorus and trumpeters Bernard Chan and Harrison McKenna and trombonist James Tsekouras in the jazz ensemble.
The All-Eastern Honors Ensembles are comprised of the most talented and accomplished student musicians from throughout the northeastern region. At the conference, the students spend three days collaborating and rehearsing with renowned conductors and music educators before a final performance.
The NAfME Eastern Division Conference will be held from April 24 through 27 in Hartford, Connecticut.
