The Carle Place Key Club recently volunteered at the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast and spent time bringing Valentine’s Day joy to students in universal pre-kindergarten programs.

On Feb. 9, members of the Carle Place Key Club dedicated their morning to giving back at the annual Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast. This annual fundraiser, hosted by the Mineola County Seat Kiwanis, supports various community initiatives.

The Mineola County Seat Kiwanis plays a vital role in assisting the Carle Place Key Club through generous donations, volunteer coordination, and ongoing mentorship, fostering a strong partnership in service and leadership.

On Feb. 11, members of the Carle Place High School Key Club and Student Organization volunteered in the pre-kindergarten classroom, bringing Valentine’s Day joy to the young learners.

They organized a special lesson, starting with reading “How to Catch a Loveosaurus.”

After the story, the students helped the children create crafts and participate in a movement break. This hands-on experience allowed the high school and pre-kindergarten students to connect, learn, and grow together.
