Belmont Park Village has another new tenant.

Charles Tyrwhitt, a British chain selling business-casual shirts, suits, sweaters, pants, blazers, coats and more for men, opened on Jan. 24 in Belmont Park Village, Elmont’s new luxury shopping destination.

The chain has over 10 stores in the United States. Since launching in 1986 in London, the company has opened more than 40 locations.

“Charles Tyrwhitt’s appeal is really, really broad, and it serves a broad client base,” said Simon Williamson, chief merchant of Belmont Park Village, about why he felt the store was a good fit for the village. “You can get a dinner suit and bow tie, you can get something for work, for the office, or a polo for the weekend.”

Charles Tyrwhitt is the shopping center’s 16th tenant. The village will continue adding tenants over the next few months, Williamson said. Stores recently opened and set to be open soon include North Face, Vivienne Westwood, Valentino, Solaris, and Samsonite.

Belmont Park Village opened in October last year. Williamson said the complex will continue opening stores and restaurants through the summer and fall.
