Chef Lidia Bastianick and former Met Mookie Willison will be the celebrity guests as The Viscardi Center’s  58th Celebrity Night on April 28.

The Albertson-based Viscardi Center operates as a non-profit organization that works to educate, employ, and empower children, adults, and veterans with disabilities and other similar needs.

Wilson, a regular at the Viscardi Center’s fundraiser, is a legendary player for the New York Mets whose speed on the field and clutch plays have made history.

Wilson has been making waves in the culinary world off the field with Legacy Catering, his family-run mobile kitchen serving mouthwatering barbecue.

Bastianich, an Emmy-award-winning restaurateur and TV host, is known for serving the heart of Italian cuisine to tables worldwide.

This dynamic duo is bringing delicious twists to this year’s fundraiser event. Their efforts aim to help support the Viscardi Centers’ life-changing programs for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities.

Attendees can look forward to several highlights for the evening, such as a cocktail hour, two new dinner/ticket options, and a silent auction featuring memorabilia and experiences.

Tickets and sponsorships are available for purchase on the Viscardi Center’s website under events.
